Is there elephant riding on this tour?
No. This is an ethical sanctuary. There is no riding, no shows, and no tricks. You only feed and observe the elephants in a natural setting.
Is this suitable for young children?
Yes. The feeding experience is gentle and hands-on. Children enjoy preparing the food and feeding the elephants up close.
How long is this experience?
The feeding program itself is approximately 1 hour. Total time including hotel transfers is longer.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included from all major areas on Koh Samui.
What is the difference between this and the longer elephant programs?
This is the shortest option — focused on feeding only. Longer programs add jungle walks, mud baths, museum visits, and more time with the elephants.
Are the elephants rescued?
Yes. The elephants at this sanctuary are former working elephants that now live freely without performing or carrying tourists.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes you do not mind getting slightly dirty. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
