What ฿1,200 actually buys you (the big boat)
The Angthong Marine Park Big Boat Tour is the cheapest way to see the park and it is not a stripped-back product. The trade-off is time and company. It is an 8–9 hour day with roughly 1.5 hours of cruising each way, on a boat with a lot of other travellers. Pickup runs 07:15–08:00 and you are back at your accommodation between 17:00 and 18:00. There is plenty of shaded deck, so the length is comfortable — it is simply a slower, more social day than the speedboat.

Pay the extra when you are short on holiday days, when sitting still for nine hours will ruin the day for your group, or when you want more time in the water and less time cruising.
